And the building goes on

Just because it was the weekend, that doesn't mean construction stopped in the neighborhood. At 11th Street and Park Road, 3DG's office complex / future home of Meridian Pint is no longer a hole in the ground. It is amazing to see finally something occupy the old Bi-Rite supermarket space and the new building looks great. And it looks like the 14th Street civic plaza is getting come nifty stonework.

I was kind of upset to see them tear down the trees at 14th and Park, but this new park looks like it will be nice and a pleasant place to sit and eat a sandwich (and hopefully will have new trees that will be allowed to grow old).
