People are obsesses with complaining about summer here even though it's the same as other major cities like Philly, Bmore, and Richmond and better than the Southern cities. This year it's been so cool!! It's been unbelievable. Let's give thanks to what an amazing summer it's been. Also, thunder storms pop up on the forecast if there's anything more than a 20% chance. It's like this in every city.
Brad--you can take a screenshot from your iPhone by simultaneously holding down the power and home buttons (for a second or so). The image will appear with the rest of your photos on the iPhone.
I grew up in DC and the summers used to really get me down. I left after college vowing I'd never return, the heat and humidity being a piece of that decision. When I got to the west, I found that I missed humidity, thunder storms, cicadas and fireflies. I couldn't believe it. Of course, I also missed all the other - more important - stuff of life too. So I came back after being away for 10 years. I made peace with the weather. This year's been easy btw. Bring it on.

How did you take a screenshot from your iphone? Or is that from an emulator?

I found it works best if you hold the home button down first, then click the top button faster.
And hey - I really do like a weeks worth of lightning. I'm midwestern. Summer storms are the way it's supposed to be.
